THE Magpies will be without Alex Godfrey for tomorrow’s trip to Gosport Borough in the Wyvern Combination League (3pm).

The wing-wizard is currently nursing an ankle injury that is likely to keep him out for at least another five weeks.

Adam Taylor is also a doubt due to work commitments but Josh Tennant and Lewis Morgan could feature.

Dorchester boss Dave Kiteley said: “We played them three times last season and they were all tight games, so I am expecting no different tomorrow.

“Teams that play in that area are always going to be strong, physical and hard-working, and it is going to be a difficult test.

“It looks like we will go there with quite a young side too and it will be interesting to see how far some of them have come and whether they respond to what we said to them after the AFC Portchester game a few weeks back.

“If we go there and fail to match their work-rate we will struggle.”

Kiteley went on to add: “Lewis Morgan is now back from holiday and could be with us but Alex is out for a minimum of five weeks now with ankle-ligament damage, which is a major blow.

“Adam Taylor is also a doubt due to work commitments but I am hopeful Josh Tennant will be okay after recovering from a wrist problem.

“Like I said, it could be a really young side but at the end of the day that is what it is all about.

“It’s not about results, it’s about development and I am looking forward to seeing how some of the players get on.”
