DORSET skipper Chris Park enjoyed a fruitful day behind the stumps grabbing six dismissals, as his side put themselves in a strong position after day one against Oxfordshire.

The hosts will resume on 111/0 tomorrow, 151 runs behind, with openers Michael Porter (54) and Masoor Khan (46) both unbeaten.

Earlier in the day, Oxfordshire won the toss and chose to make first use of the Dean Park wicket with the bat, posting 262 all out off 66.2 overs, Park claimed four catches and two stumpings in total.

Former Middlesex and Sussex professional Chad Keegan weighed in with an unbeaten top score of 91 for the visitors.

Tom Hicks was once again the pick of the Dorset attack with 3-75 and Mike Kitson claimed his first two Minor Counties victims for 48 runs. Sam Thomson also returned clinical figures of 2-8.
