BASHLEY RESERVES 3
DORCHESTER TOWN RESERVES 3
LUKE Woodland found the net twice and Jason Brookes grabbed the other as the Magpies drew 3-3 at Bashley in the Wyvern Premier Division.
Both Luke Brown and Chris Williams came through their first 90 minutes of the season following ankle injuries.
And two new additions to the squad, Sam Pashen and Ben Sabine, performed well when they came on as second-half substitutes.
Commenting on the performance, joint-reserves’ boss Neil Mackie said: “I was quite pleased with the performance.
“We had a couple of new players that came in and we had a look at them, which is to be expected in a reserve side.
“They were quite nervous I think with it being their first reserve match but they didn’t look out of place and they are the sort of players we are looking for.
“We just need to try and bring them on now and supply some players for the first team.”
The two sides are set to do battle once again at the Avenue, in a game scheduled for Tuesday, September 23.
