CAME Down’s newly-elected ladies’ captain Sue Stokey hosted a successful Christmas Fayre.
In spite of very cold and windy conditions, around 50 ladies turned out in force for a two-division Stableford.
Rosy Birch finished top of the tree in Division A with 33 points, one better than Gaye Thompson.
Mel Hooley was third on 31 and Stokey took fourth place, also with 31.
It was very close as well in Division B where Mary Shaw (32) clinched first, Julie Lawes (31) was second, Christine Brittain (30) finished third and Pam Rawson came home in fourth (29).
On this special occasion, prizes were given for the first 10 places, making for a spectacular display in the clubhouse.
