HEADS ON: The Cougars and Poole Town Wessex Colts during their quarter-final
Under-14 County Cup Quarter-final
IN a fast moving, end-to-end quarter-final, Weymouth Cougars overcame Poole Town Wessex Colts 1-0 to head in to the County Cup semi-finals.
The game proved to be a nail-biting display of talent from both sides and chances were missed at both ends as the ball hit the cross bar, or narrowly flew over.
Jack Crabbe scored the only goal of the game in the first half, and the Cougars managed to keep hold of their lead until the final whistle.
