DORCHESTER Town and Weymouth will have to wait to find out the setting for this year’s Dorset Senior Cup final, after both clubs reached the last-two yesterday evening.

Last year’s final took place at Cuthbury when Poole Town triumphed over Hamworthy United, but Dorset FA cup and competitions manager Colin Chainey revealed a setting was not yet lined up.

On moving the clash, set for April 14, closer to the Weymouth and Dorchester area, he told Echosport: “That will be discussed. I have received emails requesting maybe a toss of a coin from both clubs (for the venue) but we will have to see.

“The county cup committee will sit on Monday, March 16, in an annual meeting which either decides or discusses the venues for all of the adult county finals.”
