The final tie in Division One saw Red Triangle beat bottom of the table Pilgrims A 25-10.

A full house from Derrick Dawson was the foundation of the win but the match of the night was Pilgrims’ Richard Willshere’s epic-five set victory over Mick Spracklen with Willshere fighting back from two sets down to win 12-10 in the decider.

Budmouth’s B and C teams strengthened their grip on Division two with 29-10 and 29-11 victories respectively. The B team’s win was at the expense of third placed Shipton Gorge B.
