BRIDPORT will be without Jamie Symes, Chris Clarke and Chris Senior for tomorrow’s home clash with Slimbridge (3pm).

Bees’ boss Trevor Senior confirmed that Symes would be out of action for at least three weeks after his health scare at Melksham Town last Saturday.

Symes took a blow to the head during Bridport’s 3-0 reverse and then collapsed in the changing room following the final whistle.

As for the other two players, they miss out on the game at St Mary’s Field due to work commitments.

On the match, the Bees’ manager said: “We were the first team to beat them at their place a few weeks before Christmas.

“They have been going well and are in the top seven but we played well against them.

“We have eight games left and we could do with just picking up a win.

“The spirits aren’t down, the lads are still bubbly enough, we just need a win.”

Victory could see the Bees go back above rivals Sherborne in the league standings.

Bridport sit 13th in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division table and have won just once this year.
