SEABOROUGH Handler Harry Fry has celebrated bringing up a century of winners for his stable as odds on favourite Henryville strolled to victory at Fontwell.

The 1/9 shot was left unopposed in a what was initially a two-horse race after outsider Mesut unseated jockey Jack Quinlan.

Speaking about the winner and what it means to his yard to bring up 100 victories in less than three years, Fry told his official website: “For everyone involved at Manor Farm Stables, Seaborough, this was a highly significant success.

"So much has happened since my first winner, Highland Retreat on October 23, 2012 at Exeter. She was owned by my friend and landlord Richard Barber and ridden by his grandson Jack Barber, then a keen young amateur and now doing so well with a big team of point-to-pointers.

"I would not be training now without the support of Richard who is a fund of knowledge about horses, training and breeding.

"Now that I've reached a century of winners hopefully I can kick on this season with the biggest team I've had so far.

He added: “Henryville enjoyed a nice school round at Fontwell, and is an exciting horse to be going chasing.

“He appreciates decent ground so we will keep him going for the time being, then give him a break over the winter before bringing him back in the spring.”
