DORCHESTER Town head to William Shakespeare country tomorrow for their first test since the departure of Jonah Ayunga to Brighton.

The striker’s move was completed on Monday after the Magpies revealed 24 hours earlier that a deal had been struck with the Championship outfit.

Ayunga will no doubt be a big loss for the county town club, although they did beat Chesham without him last Saturday and do have Bradley Tarbuck to come back in the next few weeks.

Stratford Town lie in wait for boss Mark Jermyn and his charges tomorrow (3pm), as Dorchester make their bow at the DCS Stadium in Warwickshire.

The game brings together two sides that have proved tough to beat in recent months.

Dorchester, up to eighth in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division after that 2-1 defeat of the Generals, have lost just two of their last nine league fixtures.

Stratford, nine points shy of the play-off places in 12th, boast a record of only three defeats in their previous 11 outings.

With Ayunga now having left the Avenue to try his luck at a higher level, Ben Watson, who started on the bench against Chesham, could well come into the side tomorrow.

Jermyn is free to play but goes into the encounter knowing he is one booking away from picking up a suspension.
