WEYMOUTH & Portland welcome Dorset & Wilts One South leaders Yeovil to Monmouth Avenue tomorrow (2.15pm) but the Seasiders still have the selection problems that have hindered them since early December.
First-team manager Vaughan Carter said: “Since the Vase final when we lost two key players in George Carter and Josh Wilson for the remainder of the season with serious injuries, we have had selection problems.
“Despite that, we have managed to put out a side, although losing both league games against North Dorset and Dorchester.”
He added: “I had hoped that with the Christmas break things would have improved, but some lads have still to contact me to state their availability.
“We are not naming a squad until probably late Friday evening.”
The Weymouth & Portland Second XV visit Bestwall to lock horns with Swanage & Wareham Thirds tomorrow.
