FOLLOWING last weekend’s fantastic performance against league leaders Yeovil, Dorchester go into their home game against Bournemouth Thirds tomorrow full of confidence.

With no second team game this week, squad rotation is the order of the day for the coaching partnership of Ben Parker and Rich Bament, however Bournemouth are expected to bring a strong squad to compete and look to break Dorchester’s run of seven unbeaten games.

The Dorchester team sees a shuffle in the pack for front row positions with Joe Underhill taking on loose head duties and Tom Evans moving to hooker, Dave Cottell starts at tight head. The remainder of the pack stays as it was for the Yeovil game.

In the backs, Matt Read steps in at full-back with Cam Lynch moving out to the wing and the formidable centre partnership of captain James Baker and Jamie Morgan continue in place.

The bench sees both Laurence Burch and Etienne Peach step up from the second team for well-earned chances to shine in the first team.

Coach Parker said: “There is still plenty to work on from Saturday to continue our squad development, especially if we are to continue our current form and break into the top three in the league.”

The first team game against Bournemouth kicks off at 2.30pm and, as ever, a good home crowd is expected to be there to cheer the team on.

n With no second team fixture this weekend, Dorchester field a Gladiators third XV side to play at YOI Portland.
