CHARLOTTE Hall took a superb top-10 finish on her Great Britain debut during the latest round of the IMBA Motocross European Championship in Lower Drayton.

Hall, 16, took 12th in the first race of three before claiming 10th place in the next two, finishing in ninth overall as the third-highest British rider.

After beginning her career aged 11 with Ringwood MX Club, Hall was awarded the rider of the year accolade in her debut season. Five years later, she placed fifth overall in the latest round of the Acerbis Nationals in Whitby.

Encouraged by her success in that division, Hall signed up for the British Women’s Championships and currently sits in seventh overall after two rounds.

Hall, who rides a KTM 250 bike, is part of the Rikki Priest Academy and hopes to become one of the best riders in Europe.

The Dorset Studio School pupil, who is thankful to both Ringwood MX Club and her parents, is on the hunt for sponsorship.
