DORCHESTER Town have agreed terms with former Magpies midfielder Sam Lanahan for the upcoming campaign.
Lanahan, who spent last year with Gosport Borough and scored 24 goals in 31 games while at Blackfield and Langley the season before last, returns to the Avenue Stadium for a second stay.
The former Hamworthy United player had appeared for Weymouth as a substitute during their 2-1 loss to Yeovil Town on Tuesday evening, but the Magpies have swooped to recapture the 24-year-old.
Lanahan initially left Dorchester in summer 2015 to take up a teaching job in Salisbury.
