RIDING HIGH: Tiggy Townsend
TIGGY Townsend and Ridgeside Generous (nicknamed Gus) enjoyed success at the British Dressage South West Regional Final and have qualified for the Winter Championships.
The duo triumphed in the novice freestyle to music category and Townsend cannot wait to build on the achievement.
She said: “I had qualified along with 20 others to compete in the regional final and it could not have gone any better. “Gus, who is owned by Charlie Sawyer, was really good and I felt when I had completed the test that it was the best we could have done.
“I am really excited about the Winter Championships at Hartpury now. It is a huge event and it is the first time I have had a direct qualification for the main arena.”
