PRESTON Table Tennis Club are looking forward to another campaign with five teams competing in the Weymouth & District League.

Last season the club was successful with the A side winning Division Two, C team taking the runners-up spot in Division Three and Dave Clegg was runner-up in the Division Three Singles tournament.

This year, Eddie Chapman, Tony Houghton, Warwick Brown and Ian Drummond have joined the club and will be among 24 players competing in the league.

Another team, The Hawks, will make it six teams for the club.

The Preston organisation has gone from strength to strength with social and league players who meet on Wednesday and Thurs-day evenings at Westfield Arts College in Littlemoor Road and new members are always welcome.

Preston also organise the Weymouth & District League tournament, which this season will be held on February 9, 2013 and the club are looking for five sponsors of £100 each to assist in the running cost.

Further details about the club can be found at prestonweymouthttclub.co.uk or alternatively telephone secretary Dave Clegg on 835108.
