MAIDENHEAD UNITED 1 MAGPIES 3
A BRACE from Brandon Goodship took Dorchester Town to a superb victory in Berkshire as the county town side moved off the bottom of the Skrill South table.
Skipper Mark Jermyn set the visitors on their way to a stunning win with a brilliant long-range opener just after the half-hour mark.
Maidenhead barely had time to draw breath when the on-loan Goodship headed in from Josh Wakefield’s parried shot.
Johnathan Hippolyte came off the bench to make it 2-1 around five minutes from time, but Goodship smashed in a shot off the underside of the bar soon after to seal it.
Meanwhile, Dorchester reserves crashed out of the Dorset Senior Trophy at home to South Cheriton in spectacular fashion.
Goals from Luke Woodland, Alex Godfrey, Jason Kennard and Jack Jones put the Magpies 4-1 up at the Avenue but when Sam Smith missed a penalty, the away side hit back to win 5-4.
