TWO-TIME European Footballer of the Year Kevin Keegan is to be the guest speaker at a Dorchester Town Sportsman’s Dinner in aid of the club’s Ability Counts team.

Keegan scored 21 goals for England in a 63-cap international career and won three First Division titles, two UEFA Cups, the European Cup and FA Cup while with Liverpool.

The 63-year-old, who also managed his country, as well as Newcastle United, Manchester City and Fulham, will attend the event at the Trinity Club in Dorchester on Friday, June 6.

Tickets, available from Shaun Hearn on 07976363699, are £50 with a 10 per cent discount for members of the Community Trust, Supporters’ Club and Trinity Club.

Meanwhile, entries are being taken for Dorchester’s Patrons’ Draw.

Prizes on offer for the 2014/15 season include sponsorship of the Avenue Stadium’s Main Stand, Railway Terrace, Bypass Terrace and Family Area.

Sponsorship of the Magpies’ successful reserve team is also on offer and all entries to the draw get a free advert in the matchday programme.
