BRIDPORT travel to newly-promoted Welton Rovers tomorrow (3pm) in search of a third league win on the spin, though they go there without Gary Bulman and Ryan Dovell.

Bulman and Dovell, who struck the Bees’ winner against Gillingham on Tuesday, are both unavailable, but Warren Byerley (hamstring) is hoping to be back after missing the midweek triumph.

“Gary and Ryan are both unavailable but the good thing this season is that we have got a bigger squad,” said Bridport boss Trevor Senior.

“I’m sure that whoever comes in for those lads will step up to the plate.

“Sean Stewart has trained twice this week but it may be a bit early for him, though he could play for the reserves.

“Jamie Beasley is now ready to play more minutes and he is hoping to get a game with the reserves as well.

“Warren missed Tuesday’s game with a hamstring problem but hopefully he’ll be okay for Saturday.”

In contrast to Bridport’s recent league form, Welton have picked up just one point out of a possible 12 from their last four fixtures.

However, Senior knows they will be no pushovers in front of their own fans.

He added: “Welton Rovers were promoted last season and they are usually hard to beat on their own patch.

“I don’t know too much about them at the moment but they’ve had a mixed start this season.”
