MARK Jermyn will not change too much ahead of Dorchester Town’s clash with Redditch United at the Avenue tomorrow (3pm) after the Magpies’ resounding 3-0 victory over Frome Town on Tuesday.

The player-manager saw his side pick up their first win in five games, as well as their first clean sheet in seven fixtures, in midweek and Jermyn feels not much is needed to be changed.

He told Echosport: “We’ve had a boost in confidence and, for the last few weeks, we’ve not been too far away.

“Obviously, Redditch are a decent team. They have been up there for the past few seasons so we’re expecting them to be a good side.

“They’ve got some decent strikers up top and they have some good ball players, so it’s important that we get up against them.”

Speaking about selection, he added: “I’ll speak to Nick (Crittenden) and Stuart (Heath) before Saturday, but we may have to be cautious because we know we will be facing a difficult team.

“At the moment, I’m toying with keeping the same starting line-up.”

The addition of Tom Blair, from Bridport, has given the Magpies a different attacking threat and Jermyn feels his side have hit the right balance.

The Magpies’ boss explained: “We have been, but, we now have players like Tom and Joe (Lea), who can play in specific positions really does help you out.”

Neil Martin was the only first-team player to miss Tuesday’s game with a suspension, but he is now available and will be pushing for a start.

Jason Brookes will be missing as continues to serve his reserve team suspension. The only other long term absentee, Liam Sayers, is still out with a knee injury.
