DORCHESTER Town manager Mark Jermyn is demanding that there is no repeat of Tuesday night’s performance against Portland United as they head back into league action with a trip to Kings Langley tomorrow (3pm).

The Magpies lost 11-10 on penalties after a 0-0 draw (aet) in the Dorset Senior Cup in midweek and afterwards Jermyn was critical of his side’s mentality. Now, he wants his side to show their true colours against a side that are just one place above them in the league.

He told Echosport: “We need to go into the game focused on our ourselves and not worrying about our league position.

“We will be expecting to come back with something and it’s important that we get our mental preparation right before the game.

“We will speak about it because it has come up time and time again. We have to make sure they are well prepped.”

Speaking about his squad, Jermyn added: “We won’t be making wholesale changes (from Tuesday night). We have enough personnel to create competition now and if we do need to make changes then we can.”

Jermyn picked up a knock to his ankle in midweek but should be fine for the game. Jermyn is also hopeful that Yeovil loanee Joe Lea will be available for the trip.

In better news for the club, Dory Yates has had his loan extended from Portsmouth.
