MARIO Mateus has already found a new club after just a week unattached as Chippenham Town revealed that the Portuguese winger has signed for them.
The former Dorchester Town left the Avenue by mutual consent last Monday and told Echosport that it was likely he would be heading to the Bluebirds.
He said: "I’ve already spoken to the Chippenham manager and that’s where I will be going next. They are higher up in the league and it is better.”
The Hardenhuish Park outfit currently sit second in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division standings, just three points off the top.
Mateus could feature in Chippenham's trip to basement club Cinderford Town tomorrow and could face his former club Dorchester on Saturday, January 28.
