DORCHESTER Town have confirmed their third signing in a week with the arrival of Jon Vance from Gillingham Town.
The midfielder arrives on a permanent deal and manager Craig Laird is delighted with what he will bring to the squad.
He said: “Jon’s a good football player and someone I’ve admired for a long time. He’s a player I’ve tried to target a few times while I’ve been at Weston-super-Mare and Bridgwater.
“He’s a midfield player. He has all the attributes, he’s competitive, and he’ll put a shift in but can also see a pass and scores a few goals so he’s a real all-rounder.
“He’s into his 30s and full of experience at this level. The aim is to take the pressure off the younger lads to give them the best chance of being able to develop.”
Laird also confirmed that Vance is set to be involved in tomorrow’s game away at Chippenham Town.
