DORCHESTER Town striker Tom Bearwish is looking for the Magpies to be clinical when they face Farnborough away in their Evo-Stik Southern League Premier clash tonight (7.45pm).

Bearwish will miss the encounter as he continues his return to fitness, but the forward recently returned to action and got 30 minutes of playing time in the 1-0 win over Dunstable Town on Saturday.

And the striker is glad to be back after his ankle knock.

He said: “When it happened it looked pretty bad. I thought it took quicker to heal than it should have. I hate sitting on the sidelines and watching!”

Bearwish believes that new boss Steve Thompson’s “high press” game will give Dorchester “a good chance” against Boro.

“If we can press high against them I think we’ve got a good chance and we can just take our opportunities. Steve’s just trying to get us as fit as we can be so we can do the high press.

“Every team tries to play like that these days,” he said.
