Ashley Vickers has been made the permanent boss of Dorchester Town.

A club statement issued today reads: "The board of directors are pleased to announce that Ashley Vickers has been appointed manager of Dorchester Town FC on a permanent basis.

"Chairman Shaun Hearn agreed terms on Thursday evening. Ashley has agreed a normal contract of employment on a rolling basis.

"Phil Simkin will be his permanent assistant."
