MAGPIES' chairman Shaun Hearn is considering handing complete control of the club to the Dorchester Town Supporters Trust.
The county town businessman has held talks with the Trust over the possible transfer of his majority shareholding.
Should a deal be completed, it is believed Hearn will then step down as chairman after two years at the helm.
In a statement issued to Echosport, Hearn said: “I would be happy to see the club community owned.
“However, I must be 100 per cent reassured that this will work before I transfer my shares, but I am fully committed to exploring this option with the Trust.”
