With over 150 enrolled members, the completion of a 'Garden Regeneration' project at The Cossroads Centre in Weymouth and support from local businesses and local organisations the next develoment stage is coming together with the launch of 'Mind Your Head Challenge', all while running her own business)

He has recently been appointed Assistant District Commisioner for Activities. He is a retained fireman and works full time for the Fire and Rescue Dept of Dorset County Council.)

Courtenay Smith, aged 18, of Weymouth (has taught many generations of beavers cubs and scouts and regulary attends all age groups to teach them life and scouting skills. On top of this she also has achieved the rank of Sergeant through the Air Training Corps and is the senior Non-Comissioned officer of the squadron. She has the ambition to go all the way to the RAF and become a physical training instructor)

Neil Hardisty, aged 63, of Weymouth (has given his life to inspire young people. Through his teaching for 32 years, volunteering with youth clubs for 40 years and by always being a person to turn to in a crisis. On a more personal level, he and his wife have fostered numerous children over the years)

Pete Clarke, aged 68, of Weymouth (a qualified Track and Field coach for over 45 years with schools and clubs, and in 2010 was invited to be President of the Dorset County Athletics Association)

Peter Fry, aged 66, of Weymouth (keen volunteer and fundraiser who has regularly helped with volunteering for major sailing events at the National Sailing Academy at Portland.)

Andy Vittles, aged 40, of Yeovil, (has taken responsibility for becoming a true team player and a trusted advisor for his colleagues when they need a sounding board. He has many friends in the forces and in May 2012 will be taking part in the www.ToughMudder.com challenge, aiming to raise as much as possible for Help 4 Heroes to support the wounded British forces)

Graeme Furley, aged 24, of Poole Graeme, “A former Dorset County Champion runner who aspired to run for England but in July 2006 he was critically injured in a head-on car crash caused by a drunk driver and suffered massive internal injuries and a head injury. Without the support of the emergency services and expertise of NHS professionals he would have died. It was 14 months before he was able to walk unaided. Graeme now suffers from arthritis and has learned to recognise his limitations but continues to run for Wimborne AC where he's affectionately known as 'Bionic'! He has competed in charity fundraisers and is now actively involved in coaching, supporting and inspiring the next generation of runners to achieve their full potential)

Jo Shorey, aged 51, of Weymouth (or Mad Jo as she is often referred to) has a heart of gold. 11 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jo has always remained positive. She formed Ladies Alive, a group of 7 women from Weymouth, who have all had breast cancer. Their aim is to raise money for charity and also to have a good time. Between them they have raised £17000 for the breast cancer charity and also £1300 for local charities)

Paul Clark, aged 46, of Swindon (a voluntary motorcyclist for Severn Freewheelers, a registered charity delivering NHS supplies (notes, x-rays and blood) between hospitals and charity fundraiser)

Pete Bryer, aged 62, of Sherborne (former youth worker, who did over 25 years in the same Sherborne youth club, inspiring and encouraging the young people)

Rhiannon Lawrence, aged 25, of Plymouth (Fencer (epee) was in GBR junior squad - had horrific car accident in 2010 with an articulated lorry. Her loved ones were told to say their goodbyes but against all the odds she regained consciousness 17 days later, and is now celebrating the success of her ever-expanding fencing club and is hoping to represent her country again. Her courageous recovery has already seen her coach teenage students to the World Championships, and she is determined to return to the international arena herself.)

Ryan Hope (has worked tirelessly for the Westham community since the age of about 14 to improve the community and the quality of life of the residents, is now the borough's youngest councillor and a Rotarian)

Di Ludlow (Di is involved in a very practical way in many charities, she works tirelessly for the RNLI raising thousands with her plant sale every year as well as organising and working at many other Lifeboat functions. She is a very 'hands on' supporter of the Riding for the Disabled Association, 36 years so far. She never talks about the other charitable works she does but I know there are many. She is also Church Warden of St Peter's Church in Portesham, secretary to the PC, leader of the team who have just won the 'Best New Entry' in the DWT's Living Churchyard competition. Also a Trustee of the Chesil Trust which provides Sail for a Fiver for youth. Her late husband, Bill, was responsible for the creation of the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy - the reason for the Olympics being in our area. Without Bill there would be no Academy, this nomination is for him as well as Di.)
