MEMBERS of the Hardy’s Hash House Harriers and Sub60 Hash House Harriers have taken part in the The Grizzly.
The event is a 20-mile endurance run, based in Seaton, Devon.
It comprises running on pebble beaches, wading through a knee deep bog and running over hills and valleys with a total climb of 3,500 ft, similar to running up Mount Snow-don.
The Weymouth group of runners tackled the gruelling race and arrived back in Seaton relatively unscathed and very muddy.
Their times were between three hours 10 minutes and five hours.
The Hardy’s Hash House Harriers and Sub60 Hash House Harriers meet weekly on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings respectively to run or jog around South Dorset based on a different public house each week.
Describing themselves as “Drinkers with a running problem” they are clubs for sociable people enjoying exercise out in the glorious Dorset countryside.
