MEMBERS of Dorchester Martial Arts Club will be putting their abilities to the test for charity by taking part in a 24-hour sponsored Brazilian jiu jitsu sparathon.
The club will be going the duration with around 10 participants sparring around the clock and each round lasting five minutes in aid of Pilgrim Bandits, a charity that helps forces amputees.
Organiser Luke Mannion told Echosport: “I spent seven years in the parachute regiment, so the charity is very close to my heart.”
The event will run from 10am tomorrow until 10am on Sunday.
