FORMER All Saints School pupil Amber Davies is celebrating winning her first tournament on the Volleyball England Junior Beach Tour.
Davies, who is in her first year playing on the tour having been invited to attend a national training camp in May, teamed up with Anaya Evans from the Academy of Beach Sports (Croyde) in what was their first event as partners to seal a tournament victory in Weston-super-Mare.
As well as her latest win, the rising star has had a successful year on tour with three quarter-final finishes, including one at the British Junior Open Championships in Sandbanks earlier this summer.
Davies has been entered in the Junior Tour event at the Weymouth Beach Classic on July 26.
Following that, she will return to the Junior Volleyball England ‘High Peaks’ indoor training camp at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering, in preparation to begin the indoor season with England Juniors.
