BLUE skies and brilliant sunshine heralded the ever popular annual Pink Day at Weymouth Golf Club.
Members once again proved their immense generosity by raising in excess of £5,000 for Cancer Research in just one day.
Golfers, dressed in some in bizarre attire, played a Stableford with the two best scores to count, plus double points when playing the pink ball.
The winning team on countback was R Parsons, V Parsons, N Wale, and C Priest.
In second place was A Bates, M Houston, M Seabrook, and B Bostock and rounding out the podium was L Bartlett, S Robinson, S Woolrich and S Bailey.
Graham Vile, the organiser, and his social committee, wished to thank all the people who gave up their time to make it a very special day.
They also thanked all of the participants and sponsors who made the event so successful.
