DORCHESTER'S Simon Wakely claimed top spot at the latest Southern Counties Enduro Club event.
And just behind the reigning European champion in second place was another county town man - Bradley King - at the Hardy's Monument circuit.
King took the initial lead in the Championship class but Wakely passed him on the second lap, leaving King to fend off Jamie Paget in third.
Paget's unwanted attention then spurred King to re-pass Wakely for the lead but sadly for King, Wakley regained his position shortly after and then proceeded to extend his advantage right through to the end.
Paget was eventually passed by Rich Warner for third spot.
Meanwhile, Gareth Hopkins enjoyed a convincing win in the Expert class, the E1 Clubman class was won by Daniel Beaven, Toni Burrows eventually took the E2 Clubman group with Peter Cullingford successful in the Sportsman category.
