DORCHESTER will not be involved in this season’s Dorset & Wilts Cup after pulling out of tomorrow’s clash at Swanage & Wareham.
The club say a lack of front row cover prompted the decision, which means the Swans go straight through to the next round.
However, the two clubs’ third XVs meet in the cup, although the tie has been switched from Coburg Road to the Memorial Ground (2.30pm).
Bridport and Puddletown are also in cup action with the former hosting East Dor- set and the latter entertaining Poole (both 3pm).
Meanwhile, in Dorset & Wilts Four, Weymouth & Portland Thirds go in search of their first league victory of the season when they make the trip to Lytchett Minster Seconds (3pm).
