HEAD coach Paul Harding will be hoping for better luck tomorrow when Weymouth & Portland travel to Bournemouth Thirds.

After Lewis Glynn broke his arm during the cup final defeat to Pewsey Vale at the end of November, Simon Dean dislocated his shoulder in last Saturday’s clash with Wheatsheaf Cabin Crew.

As well as Dean’s dislocation, Harding saw Ryan Lewendon suffer a nasty cut to his tongue and James Borrington pick up a calf injury.

Weymouth & Portland sit second in Dorset & Wilts Two South having been beaten just once in the league this term, and they could return to the top tomorrow if leaders Yeovil slip up.

At the Brewery Ground, two teams on the wrong end of narrow losses last time out go head-to-head as Bridport host Puddletown.

The Blues were beaten 24-22 by Dorchester Seconds after leading 22-0 at half-time, while the Villagers came out second best in a low-scoring contest with Bournemouth Thirds.

Dorchester Seconds go to Poole looking to record successive league victories for the first time this season.

In Southern Counties South, Paul Dunne’s Dorchester are on a run of five straight defeats and only Frome lie below them in the standings.

While Frome host North Dorset tomorrow, Dorchester welcome Sherborne to Coburg Road. Sherborne edged to a 20-19 triumph over Devizes last Saturday.

Meanwhile, in South West One East, winless Swanage & Wareham have a great chance of finally breaking their duck when they face Reading at Bestwall.

All kick-off at 2.15pm.
