LAST week’s first-team debutants James Davis and Adam Simlar both retain their places in Weymouth & Portland's squad for tomorrow's trip to Salisbury.

The Seasiders will lock horns with the Wiltshire club’s second XV who currently sit third in the Dorset & Wilts One South table with an impressive record of played 14, won 11 and have amassed a tally of 57 points.

First-team manager Vaughan Carter said: “Salisbury are always strong at home and I don’t think it’s going to be any different tomorrow.

“The two youngsters, James and Adam, both made impressive debuts last week in our win at Bournemouth and deserve their place in the squad.

"It is also good to have skipper Ryan Lewendon back now he has recovered from his leg injury."

Carter added: “We had a former players' reunion before the Six Nations internationals kicked off last week and we didn’t know how many would turn up and, to be honest, I was surprised with the turnout and the clubhouse is open again from 1pm before the Wales versus England game.”

The Seasiders' second XV have a friendly match at home against a Bournemouth XV, both matches kick off at 2.15pm.
