DORCHESTER travel to top of the table Yeovil in Dorset & Wilts One South tomorrow (2.15pm).

It will be a tough test for the visitors, who currently sit in fourth position as they take on a Yeovil side unbeaten in the league this season.

But Dorchester are currently in high spirits following a six-game unbeaten run, which goes to show the progress made under the new coaching partnership of Ben Parker and Rich Bament.

Speaking ahead of the game, Parker said: “This week’s preparation has gone well. We have focused on our strengths rather than the weaker parts of our game and continued to develop our style of play.

“The challenge on Saturday is clear to everyone and this, as we have already said, will be a true gauge of where we are as a squad.

“It would be greedy to ask the lads for a five-point win this week. So all we’ve asked is they give 100 per cent and be the team that wants that win more.”

The first team welcome back Tom Evans, Lee King, Jake Bosher and Luke Robson to give Parker a strong 18 to choose from.

Meanwhile, Dorchester’s second XV are at home to Oakmeadians’ seconds in Dorset & Wilts Two South, as they look to correct a run of two defeats.

The home side will welcome the return of experienced Tom Gower to their squad.
