DORCHESTER returned to winning ways last weekend and will look to continue their form against Lytchett Minster in their Wadworth 6X Dorset & Wilts One South clash at Coburg Road tomorrow (3pm).

Sporting minor changes to last week's starting line-up, but remaining a settled squad, Liam Kershaw comes back into the front row as hooker and James Newsam returns to action also. Jamie Morgan comes back into the back line and Jake Bosher continues at scrum-half.

Dorchester's bench has the experience of Tom Gower and the power of Chris Elliott, whilst Cameron Wills follows on from his first-team debut last weekend.

With Lytchett struggling in 11th in the league and Dorchester at the top of the table it could prove a tough afternoon for the visitors. With just five games left after this weekend Dorchester are looking to secure the league and gain promotion back to the Southern Counties.

Dorchester’s own Rich Bament again takes charge of the side this weekend and knows the squad needs to keep focused and concentrate on their style of play whilst not becoming complacent. The pressure is there for the team to perform and league to be won.

All of Dorchester’s senior sides are in action at home this weekend for the first time this season. The A XV take on Dinton and the Gladiators Third XV welcome Salisbury Fourths to the club.

This weekend sees Dorchester and Weymouth rugby clubs coming together off the pitch for the second time in Weldmar hospice Men’s Rugby Walk.

This event goes from Dorchester Rugby Club to Weymouth & Portland Rugby Club and raises much-needed funds for the local charity which is supported by both clubs. On completion of the walk at Weymouth all the final games of the Six Nations will be shown on the big screen for everyone to watch.

n WEYMOUTH & Portland's precarious position at the foot of the Dorset & Wilts One South standings could be set to worsen this weekend.

Echosport understands that a number of players are unavailable for the clash, leaving coach Anthony Cowburn with a threadbare squad to choose from for the trip to second-placed Dorset Dockers.

The Seahorses are expected to field a team to avoid a points penalty, with a crucial bottom-of-the-table clash against Lytchett Minster scheduled for Saturday, March 24. Weymouth & Portland are set to have a near full-strength squad for the vital tie.

Elsewhere, Bridport host New Milton Seconds, while Puddletown are away to Oakmeadians Seconds in Dorset & Wilts Two South.
