WEYMOUTH maintain third spot in Dorset & Wilts One South after victory at local rivals Puddletown.
The Seasiders though, are only ahead of Bridport by virtue of a better points difference, and skipper Tony Worle was happy to record another victory, their fifth in a row.
He said: "We never looked like losing the game but we failed to reach the heights in terms of our performance.

"I think the race for third place will come down to our game with Bridport next month, but as long as we keep getting wins under our belt then it is in our own hands."
The Seasiders made the best possible start when captain Worle drove over the line from a five-metre scrum and Ryan Lewendon added the extras with just two minutes gone.
The hosts tightened up as the game entered a lull with neither side able to make an impression, but on 20 minutes Andy Wood crossed the whitewash to put the visitors 12-0 up.
The Villagers replied with two penalties before the half-time break to give them hope going into the second half.
But that hope was dashed when Ian MacConnachie burst past three opposition players to touch-down.
To their credit, Puddletown continued to fight and reduced the deficit to six when they scored their first try of the afternoon.
