BYRON Napper could feature for the Terras at Chippenham Town tomorrow night (7.45pm), according to boss Brendon King.
The Crawley Town teenager has been linked with a return to the Bob Lucas Stadium ever since his previous loan stay at the club ended on January 28, but due to Weymouth’s recent postponements the switch has been held up.
King told Echosport: “All the talks have been done so there is a chance he could be involved tomorrow but we are not completely sure yet, so we will just have to wait and see.”
After going a fortnight without a competitive game, the clash at Hardenhuish Park will mark the first of four matches in 11 days for the Terras and King is hoping his men will rise to the challenge.
He added: “Since the victory at Stourbridge, it has been a very frustrating time with the two postponements we have had but we have kept ourselves ticking over and I know the lads cannot wait to get back into it again. We have four tough games coming up but three of them are at home and hopefully we can come out of this little lay-off and hit the ground running.”
The cold snap once again put paid to all of the fixtures in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division at the weekend, which means the Terras remain 16th in the table, seven points above the drop-zone.
