WEYMOUTH Terras Under-18s gave a terrific performance at the Bob Lucas Stadium last night as they defeated Fareham 2-1 in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup.
They were 1-0 down in the first half but showed grit and determination in coming back to win the tie in the last five minutes.
Matt West grabbed the equaliser in the 85th minute and Billy Mitchell netted the winner two minutes later.
Weymouth will now travel to either Petersfield Town or Hamworthy United in the next round.
Meanwhile, the Weymouth FC Travel Club has announced coaches for the Terras’ upcoming trips.
The FA Cup clash with Petersfield Town on Saturday will leave the Bob Lucas Stadium at 10.30am (£12).
And the coach to Leamington on Saturday, September 19, will depart the ground at 9am (£15).
