WEYMOUTH Reserves manager Jake Richmond has expressed his gratitude to everyone who made his team’s Family Fun Day a resounding success.
A total of £780 was raised for Richmond’s reserves at the event and that will now go towards purchasing new equipment and training aids.
Richmond also thanked those that volunteered to help on the day, as well as Pascal Ryan and his staff at the Famous Old Spa in Weymouth for hosting the fundraiser for a second time.
“They worked their socks off for us and made everyone feel very welcome,” said Richmond.
“Without their support I couldn’t run the reserve set up as successfully as I do.”
Attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting, penalty shoot-out, raffle, barbecue and Race Night kept everyone entertained on a glorious day.
