IAN White has been delighted with the take-up of his Wessex Fantasy Football League.
The competition, which helps raise money for the Weymouth FC’s player fund, was re-launched two weeks’ ago.
White said: “We are pushing towards the total we need to enable Weymouth boss Jason Matthews to complete his squad for the new season.
“So please can we have that little extra from fans, for those who witnessed the Plymouth game we know we could be heading in the right direction.
“Every penny counts and you will know you have been able to help.
n The league costs £10 a month to play (or £85 for the season), £8 of that goes directly to the Terras’ player budget and the other £2 forms the prize fund for each month.
Alternatively you can just donate to the budget through the Wessex Fantasy venture.
