JASON Matthews is well aware of the pressures that can come with managing a side riding high in the Southern Premier Division.

The Terras, who travel to Redditch United tomorrow (3pm), have won five of their last six in the league and sit fourth in the table.

But Matthews knows that as one of the league’s top teams the Terras are there to be targeted.

“We’ve put ourselves in a good position but that brings its own pressure,” said Matthews.

“We are up there to be shot at and other teams will see ours as a big scalp to take.

“But we’ve got to make our experience count and that’s why I’ve got the players in the squad that I have.”

On-loan Calvin Brooks, pictured, could make his first start tomorrow, Chris Shephard (neck) and Sam Poole (ankle) are both rated at 50-50, while Ed Palmer and Jake Wannell miss out through suspension.

Matthews added: “Redditch started the season fairly well and it will be a case of trying to grind out a result ahead of another tough one against Cirencester.”
