DEAN Evans scooped a hat-trick of club awards at the Terras’ end-of-season presentation at Weymouth Pavilion’s Ocean Ballroom on Saturday.

The former Paulton and Plymouth man, who enjoyed a stellar campaign in the heart of the Weymouth midfield, was awarded the players’ player of the season prize, the manager’s player of the season and the supporters’ away player of the season accolades.

Defender Calvin Brooks picked up two prizes on the evening with the supporters’ home player of the season and the inaugural Dorset Echo player of the season award. There were also first team trophies for Ben Thomson (golden boot) and Jake Wannell (goal of the season) for his stunning effort away at Cirencester.

In the club’s reserve ranks, there was a joint players’ player vote with defender Aston Butcher and keeper Steve Boore sharing that accolade – both players have also featured in first team action this term.

Butcher was also on hand to pick up the supporters’ player of the season, Sam Jackson was chosen as the young player of the season and Sanchez Jansz-Baker pouched the golden boot.

Manager Bradley Asagba also awarded Adam Anstey with his player of the season trophy.

The club’s under-18s were also given their end-of-season prizes as part of the presentation.

Jack Sapsworth received a special recognition award and the managers’ player of the season.

The players’ player was awarded to Billy Mitchell, George Parkinson was the supporters’ player and Matthew West was the golden boot winner.
