LUKE Winsper has confirmed via Twitter this evening that he has left the Terras.
The midfielder, whose chances in the Weymouth first-team have been limited over the last two-and-a-half seasons due to a foot injury which required an operation, took to social media to announce the departure, admitting it was “time for me to move on”.
He posted: “Sad day. I've had a great 5 years at @theterras made some great friends. And memories I'll never forget. But it's time for me to move on...
“I'd like to wish Jase, the players and the club all the best for the future. Best fans in the league, hope you boys get promoted next year.”
Winsper joins fellow midfielder George Rigg in heading out the exit door at the Bob Lucas Stadium this summer.
