BOSS Jason Matthews has this evening revealed that defender Jake Wannell has agreed a new deal with the Terras.
The former Exeter City youngster, who operated at centre-half alongside Calvin Brooks towards the latter stages of last season, has agreed a new one-year contract to stay at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
Matthews told Echosport: "I'm buzzing to have signed him on a one year contract after fighting off competition from Truro for his signature.
"I personally think he formed a fantastic partnership with Calvin at the end of the season and urge them to make the partnership formidable for next season.
"Jake really matured in the second half of season which is why we have rewarded him with a contract."
