TERRAS’ boss Jason Matthews is looking for his side to build on their positive form in the league when they visit Kettering Town tomorrow (3pm).

Beaten 6-0 in the FA Cup by Kidderminster Harriers last time out, Matthews’ men return to Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division action looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league to five games.

They face a Poppies outfit who are yet to win on their home turf in eight attempts in the league so far, but the Terras’ manager insists his side will still have to be on their guard. He told Echosport: “It’s time to kick on in the league.

“We need to go there and get a positive result, there are no two ways about it. We need to get ourselves back in the mix to an extent.

“If we win a couple of games, in this league it will make a big difference.”

He added: “They (Kettering) are a good side and I have no doubt that they will still be up there at the end of the season. We need to be on our mettle to keep our good league form going.”

The Terras’ striking options could be limited for the encounter however.

Ben Thomson (hamstring) and Sam Jordan (groin) will be assessed ahead of the game, while winger Chris Shephard (hamstring) will still miss out.

Matthews may also look into the possibility of some loan signings ahead of the contest.
