EXIT: Dan Smith has left the Terras
WINGER Dan Smith has been released by Weymouth, player-manager Jason Matthews confirmed tonight.
The former Dorchester Town man came back to the Terras for his second spell in the summer.
But Matthews made the decision to let him go in a bid to "freshen things up" in his squad.
Matthews said: "I'd like to thank Dan for his efforts at Weymouth.
"After his injury I don't think things quite went for him and it's time for me to freshen things up a little bit."
