WEYMOUTH are hoping to name the club’s new permanent manager ahead of tomorrow’s Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division clash with Leamington at the Bob Lucas Stadium (3pm).
The Terras last week revealed a shortlist of six candidates had been drawn up for the role, and Echosport understands the club have identified a suitable successor to replace Jason Matthews, who left the role earlier this month.
A spokesperson for the Terras said: “We are doing the final evaluation this afternoon and we expect to make a job offer to the successful candidate.
“We hope to make an announcement tomorrow at 1.45pm.”
*Following tomorrow’s game against the Terras, visitors Leamington will also receive their runners-up award from the league.
