TERRAS’ manager Mark Molesley has said he will not take his side’s home match against Kings Langley tomorrow (3pm) lightly despite the difference in league position.

Kings Langley are currently 21st in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division with 11 points and two wins all season, below the Terras who are in fifth with 10 victories and 31 points.

The two side’s previous two encounters have been tight 1-1 draws and the away side have five draws so far this season.

Molesley said: “They’re certainly a good quality opposition and one we wont be taking lightly.

“We’ve got to be right on the mettle to make sure we can try and get three points.

“I definitely don’t look at the league position of Kings Langley at all, I know what a danger they can be and what a good side they are.

“I don’t think, if you look at their results, they have lost a few more games than they would have liked but every game has been tight.”

Molesley confirmed that there are no fresh injury concerns and the Terras will look forward to welcoming back Ashley Wells, who was absent last Saturday due to the birth of his daughter.

Molesley said: “He was missed at the weekend and he was gutted to miss it but family is the most important thing and always will be.

“I’m sure he’ll be on cloud nine at the moment.”

Last time out, Weymouth lost 3-1 to Hitchin Town in the league, their fourth consecutive loss in all competitions. but before that the Terras were on a five match winning streak in the league.

The team will hope to get back to winning ways against Kings Langley and Molesley said: “I can’t wait for the match, especially after Saturday.

“There’s only a small couple of bits wrong so we played well after having a Saturday morning, having our team taken apart from us on Saturday morning.”

The Terras’ preparation was disrupted as their BigFreeBet.com Challenge Cup match at Totton was rained off on Tuesday.

The Weymouth boss was determined to make the most of it with Saturday in mind.

Molesley said: “There’s nothing we can do so we’ve got to look at it and try and take a positive out of it, it’s a bit of a rest for some players. Ones that we wanted to get a few minutes in have plenty of games to let them catch that up.”

The Terras will welcome all current and ex-armed forces personnel with free entrance to the match, with proof of service, where there will be a minute silence before kick-off.
